. I listened to the Cubs versus the Arizona Diamondbacks game which was played at a windy Wrigley Field this afternoon, and it was a pretty good pitchers duel unto the 7th inning, and as you can see, everything came unhinged. After going up 7-1 in the 7th inning, Cubs pitching suffered one of its wort innings in years, giving up 10 runs to the Diamondbacks in the 8th. Cubs fans were audibly angry on the radio broadcast as the top of the 8th wound down. The expectation was the Cubs had put themselves in a horrible hole to climb out of. Oh well. This is a unique Cubs team on clearly a unique day.

    About

A web programmer by day, I somehow still spend a lot of time thinking about relationships, God, and the significance of grace and love in daily events. I am old school in the sense that I believe in the reality of sin, and in the need of each human heart for deliverance to the Divine. I am one of those who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that you can find most answers to life's pressing issues in Him and His Word, the Bible. I ain't perfect, and a lot of the time I ain't good, but by God's grace and kindness, I am forgiven and free.
