Fourteen years ago, I finished a marathon, and then the running shoes went first into a closet, and later into the garage. In January this year, I decided I wanted to trim up quite a bit. After a good few months of better dieting, and with warmth now on the horizon, it recently seemed like a good next step would be to try and return to doing some gravel and track coursework, and to inspire me, new shoes were needed. Doing some research, it seems barefoot shoes are pretty good for helping your legs to strengthen while moving with natural motion. I opted to grab an economical pair of Merrell Vapor Glove barefoot sneakers. Next up is using them.

    About

A web programmer by day, I somehow still spend a lot of time thinking about relationships, God, and the significance of grace and love in daily events. I am old school in the sense that I believe in the reality of sin, and in the need of each human heart for deliverance to the Divine. I am one of those who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that you can find most answers to life's pressing issues in Him and His Word, the Bible. I ain't perfect, and a lot of the time I ain't good, but by God's grace and kindness, I am forgiven and free.
