POTD: Drone Practice

After a slow start this morning, I headed over to Walmart about noon to pick up some scrubbing items- so the I could try to remove the white paint that was spattered in the wheel wells and on the flaps on the left side of my truck two nights ago when I drove through a significant pool of it in an intersection. I spent a while early afternoon with my purchases- the chief of which was a suggested Goo Gone spray-on product for removing latex paint- in a remote locale of the Walmart lot removing what I could from visible places in the wells and on the flaps before giving up on the project for the day.
After a mid-afternoon lunch, I opted to go to Domingo Baca park, a large park near my house, to finish out the daylight hours practicing flying my drone. I headed to a drainage depression attached to the park where few people were, and kept the aircraft mostly over the chunk of the park.
I never practice flying my drone, and I really should.
I spent probably an hour flying it around within view, practicing steering it in turns and in altitude changes, and then using some of the moves programmed into it for cinematic effects, and then after that, I took it back to my truck and then walked around the park once after, for exercise.
Sorry for neglecting you, drone.
