After work tonight, I took my oft usual walk east for half a mile on the arroyo trail. It was cooler as a brisk breeze blew against me on my way out. The sun was in golden-orange hour for half of my stroll. Near my turn-around point, I spied this creature peering out at me. A black blob. Oh, but a fine kitty of a critter. It stayed at its station as I neared and passed its yard. When my little side-loop circled back in the direction of its home, as the sun dropped below the horizon behind me, I saw it had been relieved of its duty and had abandoned the rail and plopped down to find other entertainments.

    About

A web programmer by day, I somehow still spend a lot of time thinking about relationships, God, and the significance of grace and love in daily events. I am old school in the sense that I believe in the reality of sin, and in the need of each human heart for deliverance to the Divine. I am one of those who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that you can find most answers to life's pressing issues in Him and His Word, the Bible. I ain't perfect, and a lot of the time I ain't good, but by God's grace and kindness, I am forgiven and free.
