• POTD: Second

    I often take a break during the day to go to my back door and see what, if any critters are hanging around out back.

    Frequently off and on, I find a healthy squirrel sitting either own my wall or a neighbors’ wall, sunning and sniffing the air.

    I thought there was just one squirrel out there- until today.

    I saw them with my own eyes- two squirrels running together across the top of my back wall!

    I tried to get a photo of them both, but this one of one will have to do. The second one is not quite as full-bodied as the first, which makes me wonder if this, the smaller, is female, or a juvenile up-and-comer that hangs with its pop?

    I don’t know. All I know is that there is a second squirrel out back off and on now.
