• POTD: Tuna Steak

The image is not much, but for me, the tuna steak is a departure, because I do not eat much seafood- let alone prepare it. But with new paths come little changes in course and direction, and I picked up a bag of frozen tuna steaks last weekend, intending to eat healthier at home.

Tonight, my defrosted steak needed to be dinner, and so I went to the internet to learn quickly about making a marinade (honey, cumin, garlic, paprika, yum) and pan-frying the deal. Thirty-five minutes after the steak had been locked in a bag of spices and sauces, it was in a pan on the stove, and five minutes later it was steaming on a plate along with some steamed broccoli florets.

And about five minutes later, it was in my belly.

I’d say this is a “trial run” I will make much more often now. That was a tasty meal.

    About

A web programmer by day, I somehow still spend a lot of time thinking about relationships, God, and the significance of grace and love in daily events. I am old school in the sense that I believe in the reality of sin, and in the need of each human heart for deliverance to the Divine. I am one of those who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that you can find most answers to life's pressing issues in Him and His Word, the Bible. I ain't perfect, and a lot of the time I ain't good, but by God's grace and kindness, I am forgiven and free.
