I broke out of my pattern of two-years of passive (non-)participation with the Albuquerque camera club today, and ended up getting lunch with several men who participate in the club’s mid-week photography meets. We had a good lunch at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center (the taco salad was delicious, as expected), and following the meal, we made our way to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, where the club had a meeting to enjoy a photo presentation by Albuquerque photographer Nathaniel Paolinelli, who does a lot of his work in communities in Albuquerque’s South Valley.

Across the street from St. Mark’s is the impressive facade of a Christian Science church, and the tree’s shadow on the building in golden hour, with the moon hovering close by, caught my eye.

    About

A web programmer by day, I somehow still spend a lot of time thinking about relationships, God, and the significance of grace and love in daily events. I am old school in the sense that I believe in the reality of sin, and in the need of each human heart for deliverance to the Divine. I am one of those who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that you can find most answers to life's pressing issues in Him and His Word, the Bible. I ain't perfect, and a lot of the time I ain't good, but by God's grace and kindness, I am forgiven and free.
