It wasn’t a second Christmas celebration actually, but kind of, because today, after we had recently finished off the last of the batch of Christmas-only cookies we had made at the beginning of this month, we had the novel idea of making a few more.

So this afternoon I went over to my folks, and my mom and I made this batch of the family Christmas cookies, which simply became a batch of snowballs and Valentine’s hearts. My dad was a wonderful supervisor and quality control expert.

The concept for them was wonderful, but it didn’t really matter what shapes we’d use for them.

We just wanted to eat more of these yummy cookies, in whatever shape or form, because they are fantastic. And the circle and the heart cookie cutters were the right size for making lots of decent sized cookies.

    About

A web programmer by day, I somehow still spend a lot of time thinking about relationships, God, and the significance of grace and love in daily events. I am old school in the sense that I believe in the reality of sin, and in the need of each human heart for deliverance to the Divine. I am one of those who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that you can find most answers to life's pressing issues in Him and His Word, the Bible. I ain't perfect, and a lot of the time I ain't good, but by God's grace and kindness, I am forgiven and free.
