Stupor

I came home after work tonight and sat down for a nap. I woke up an hour later and my head spun a little bit. There was a slight ache in my shoulders. The sleepiness stuck around long after it should have.
My mom had invited me over to my parents’ house for dinner. Beans and ham. Cornbread. Salad. In a stupor, I drove over and enjoyed the meal. It tasted great. But the stupor remained.
I’ve watched a big chunk of the Gonzaga- St. Mary’s basketball game. Former Lobo hoopster Cullen Neal transferred to St. Mary’s, the school that he was originally committed to out of high school, after a year of playing at Ole Miss, after things blew up for him at UNM. Neal has seen a little time tonight. Same good shot, same reckless drives to the hoop, same disbelief anytime he shoots, he misses, and no foul is called. St. Mary is supposed to win the West Coast Conference and is 17-2 and 6-0 in conference play. Gonzaga, perennially a national power, is ranked 13th in the country, is 16-3, and are 6-0 in conference. And the game is tied at 63 with 6 minutes left.
It’s a good game to watch when your mind is dull and your body isn’t sure what it is doing.
I had thought about watching a movie tonight I’ve had rented from Netflix for about three months.
I’ll finish this game and go to bed by 9PM instead. And hopefully sleep whatever this is off tonight.
