Follow the Leader

I’ve been at Architectural Research Consultants for about nine years now.
It’s hard for me to imagine that I’ve been there that long. And I am grateful for being there.
The main reason I am there is Tim, really. He interviewed me. He hired me. He slowly plugged me into the system once I was ready, working on little projects here and there, and then some larger ones.
I’ve remained at ARC for nine years, also, largely because of Tim. He is my boss. He is also someone I admire greatly, and enjoy seeing day in and day out. He’s someone I’ve learned an incredible amount of things from- related to work and taking care of our clients, related to pets and the nine lives of cats, related to French cinema and photography, related to religion and faith, and being gracious when necessary, and hard when necessary.
So, for me, this picture sums up Tim in my life pretty well.
He’s marching on ahead, ready to surmount the clouds, and I am happy to tag along and follow him.
