    "The Pitch"

    “The Pitch”

Today I got up and made coffee and showered and dressed and fed the cats and drove to work and got a breakfast burrito at the store around the corner and then talked to Dede for a minute and then worked a lot on making a huge old form work and then worked on making a data collection set of pages work and then I remembered it was Tuesday so I went to Sisters and ate three tacos and then I came back and worked longer on the app, some trying to make it look better, and then it got late and I read email and looked at games stuff on Craigslist for a few, sifting for deals, and then it was late enough I could go over to Lobo field to watch the Lobos play the Aggies as a breeze blew out and the sun fell and the sky and mountains were vivid for twelve minutes, and then I got a green chile hamburger that was sort of cold and while I was away the Aggies scored nine runs in a half an inning and I came back shocked and ate my burger and watched the Lobos flail for a few more innings before I left the game in the seventh when it was 10-4 to come home and do this- so the TV is on with the Cubs game on delay, and I do this and it is already 9:29 and I am tired and I thought earlier about cooking Italian sausage that has been in the fridge for two days after it thawed, and I should probably cook that, yeah, I’ll cook it and use it later, and then I’ll maybe get to bed and rest.

    About

A web programmer by day, I somehow still spend a lot of time thinking about relationships, God, and the significance of grace and love in daily events. I am old school in the sense that I believe in the reality of sin, and in the need of each human heart for deliverance to the Divine. I am one of those who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that you can find most answers to life's pressing issues in Him and His Word, the Bible. I ain't perfect, and a lot of the time I ain't good, but by God's grace and kindness, I am forgiven and free.
