Peter Cetera is famous for his Chicago hits and his duets.

I didn’t really know who Crystal Bernard was until I saw her in shows from the last year or two of the series she was in, “Wings”, and I thought she was cute and funny.

I came across Cetera’s fourth solo project at some point about the time I was visiting that quirky comedy, and I gave the CD a listen, just because I’ve always liked him. The album did nothing on the charts, but it was an even project, in my mind. And then I came across this duet.

The slow, sensual love song featured well-layered vocals, and I realized after a listen or two that the woman singing with Peter was “that Wings chick”. I was thoroughly impressed. I then looked up this video, and I had a whole new appreciation for Crystal, her natural beauty, and her musical talents.

And the song has been a favorite ever since.
